The roadworks have been completed but they have blocked the drain with tar and made the opening smaller so that it does not drain even with the slightest of rain.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 374985.
As above this was fixed last year but the works last week have reduced the flow in to the drain and it has flooded the road on the first rainfall . I have cleared it of leaves but I can feel tar in the entry and the depth of entry has been reduced .

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.

374985 I have seen your reply that seems to have missed the point that the entry to the drain has been reduced in size by the new road surface . Cleaning out the drain as part of usual works will not solve the problem. The entrance to the drain needs to be opened up more by removing the part of the actual new road surface .
