There are potholes, some quite deep

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 375545.
Friesthorpe Road, Buslingthorpe is part of the National Cycle Route 1. Outside Musgrave Farm down to Mill Lane there are quite a few deep potholes which require maintenance. Because it is a single track road, when it rains, water stands on the road so that the potholes are not always visible, therefore creating quite a danger to cyclists and vehicles. This road has been patched and patched, so now in places there are patches on patches! With grass growing in the middle of the road in places. We have lived here 47 years and in that time I can remember it being tar and chipped once. Due to more homes on this roadside and a school at Friesthorpe the road is used much more than it ever used to be and I think the road classification should be looked into and perhaps updated. I(I checked it out and it was due to be checked every 3 years, which is ludicrous.) When any potholes are filled it only seems to be part of the length of the road and never all repaired all at once. Two sections have had potholes filled, one just very recently, but not our section.
