We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we do not have any capability for pest control, and as such this is not something we would get involved in. We would only get involved with pests if they were causing a significant safety issue (i.e undermining the road by rabbit burrowing/or wasps nest in highways tree causing safety issue to pedestrians). We have looked at Chaffer bugs, and they do not bite or sting, and although they may kill the grass to some degree, they do not pose any threat to humans. We suggest if this is an issue that you want to treat, you would need to report to West Lindsey District Council at https://www.west-lindsey.gov.uk/ my-council/ contacts-facts-and-figures/ council-offices-and-contact-details/ contact-us/ . They can put you in contact with a pest management company. This is not a free service however, and you would have to pay for the service. Thank you for reporting this matter.
