Invasive species of tree, dislodging paving slabs, atrocious and impassible surface.
Reported in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 13:37, Mon 7 September 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 376141.
Invasive species of tree ( possibly "black locust robinia pseudoacacia" or false acacia) growing oversized at Skellingthorpe Road end of Roydon Grove reported to me by residents. Completely dwarfs other trees on street. Roots causing paving slabs to be dislodged creating very uneven surface that has caused wheelchair using resident to come up the middle of the road instead. Other resident had their child fall while coming up the pavement as well. Shoots from the tree also surfacing up to 30m away in gardens. Dead branches falling into road and on cars often. This issue was put forward directly to Highways from residents multiple times over the last year, they have come through me at local councillor now.

City of Lincoln Council have inspected this and are issuing some works. They have advised us that the Robinia tree is healthy and in good condition, the limbs shed were some deadwood that was in the canopy.
