Death trap for pedestrians

Reported via iOS in the Visibility at junction or bend category anonymously at 06:32, Tuesday 15 September 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 376526.

The junction of Paul’s lane is lethal to try and cross as a pedestrian. The layout is completely wrong. You have to physically walk out into the middle of the highway to see oncoming traffic. This for some reason is national speed limit even though it says slow when approaching the bend !!!! Should be 30mph all along Thorpe road as the pathway is extremely close to the road. The junction is used daily by children walking to school and people walking through to Tattershall Thorpe. How someone hasn’t been killed ??? The road markings are completely worn out ...

Reduce the speed limit urgently and make this junction safe urgently. The authorities know this junction and speed is an issue so get it changed ... children are at risk
