Vibration to properties due to road speed
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 14:47, Thu 17 September 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 376668.
Because of the speed of large goods vehicles travelling along this section of road it is causing serious vibration to the surrounding properties. This stretch of road is surrounded by new build properties and the village speed restriction of 30 miles per hour has not been extended out to this point and probably needs to be in order to reduce potential damage to these new properties from ongoing traffic vibrations. The current speed should be 40mph along the road but much of the traffic exceeds this not slowing from the previous 50mph limit until they are much further into the village.

This is still an issue and there seems to be a point where heavy goods vehicles and buses hit a point in the road that is causing the vibration. I believe there may be a road surface problem such as a lip on a drain or other problem. Can I please ask that you investigate the issue further.
