Large area of paving missing
Reported in the Damaged/missing paving slab category anonymously at 17:22, Mon 21 September 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 376858.
A large area was having a pavement built on it to connect existing paving to new housing paving in late February, however it seems the council or those doing the works forgot to lay the actual paving and have instead left the fencing up ever since then. Including for the past 3 months since lockdown was lifted.
However if this was indeed a giant long pothole then bravo on keeping the safety fencing up. But I feel it was intended to be a pavement and one that has now taken 6 months to build, 5 of which has involved zero work being done, and is now starting to grow its own vegetation and grassland over where the pavement was going to be. Fine if it is intended to be covered over and forgotten about, but otherwise it may cause more costs to clear when the day comes you finally decide to finish the path...
