We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we recently visited the site and whilst we acknowledge your concerns we do not feel that these trees are presenting a hazard or significant nuisance. You do have a legal right to cut the tree back to your boundary providing this does not affect the health of the tree or unbalance it. You must consult with your district council prior to any work being carried out, if there is a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) on them or if they are in a conservation area. Further information can be found at https://www.west-lindsey.gov.uk/ my-services/ planning-and-building/ conservation-and-environment/ trees-and-hedges/ tree-preservation-orders-tpos/ Thank you for reporting this matter.
