Sunken utilities cover
Reported in the Manhole/drain cover on road/cycleway category anonymously at 15:53, Wed 23 September 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 376978.
A sunken utility cover in the middle of the road is causing major vibrations in ours and neighbours homes. Cars aren't so much of a problem, but as the road has numerous lorries going through, which are heavily laden, the vibrations are starting to cause cracks in plaster.
The cover is next to the Birch Close entrance - as you're travelling from Spalding to Surfleet, it's in the left hand lane, on the right hand side towards the middle of the road (so lorry driver's side wheels are hitting it).
Please could you investigate as soon as possible as it's also keeping our children awake.
