Part of the road has broken up with many dangerous potholes and camber of road directing traffic into deep side ditch.
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 09:20, Thu 1 October 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 377332.
Over the years there have been several repairs here - none of which last long. However the potholes and camber of the road (lower half of Gorse Hill Lane) are now in an extremely bad state of repair. The potholes are very deep, unavoidable and need immediate attention. The camber of the road 'directs' traffic heading out of Caythorpe into the deep side ditches. 01/10/2020

Road has worsened, if a car hits this at speed in the dark it is likely the vehicle may end up in the ditch. This road has been deteriorating for a long time.

This has been "repaired" so many times. When is it going to be done properly?

We were travelling along this stretch of road on Saturday 27th Feb 2021, we hit this stretch of damaged road with several deep pit holes in it. It caused damage to my front near side alloy wheel and burst the front and rear tyres. I have had 2 new tyres fitted and have been told the alloy wheel is buckled. Reg number YC14 LMF. I will be claiming for the damage to my car.

I see this pothole was reported on 1st October and has still not been sorted. It has caused so many damaged wheels and now you can add my daughters car to that after hitting these potholes last night. This is nearly 6 months after it was first reported. There are no warnings at all and the delay is ridiculous and Covid is not an excuse for the neglect of a very dangerous road. I will be claiming
