The stone garden wall of 88 Casterton Rd Stamford has collapsed onto the pavement and is now blocking it to such an extent that anyone with a pushchair/pram or in a disabled buggy cannot pass. The wall has been in poor disrepair for over a year but this latest collapse is now causing an obstruction to the public pavement. Please investigate and arrange clearance ASAP. The house is on the corner of Beverley Gardens and Casterton Rd

Currently our resources are such that we have to restrict our efforts to dealing with encroachments that are considered a significant danger or nuisance to users of the highway. The footway has been cleared. In this instance we do not intend to take any immediate action, however we will continue to monitor the site as part of our routine inspections of the highway and will review the situation as necessary.
