Multiple potholes over first 100 yards, still not fixed and get larger and more numerous. This issue is reported at least once a year for very many years. So-called repairs. are farce because of the pathetic standard of work on the repairs e.g. toss a bit of tarmac in most of the holes, then tamp it or run the lorry tyre over it - yes that has been witnessed. A few weeks later the dog-walker cars using that first part of the Drive have scuffed out the tarmac and the weather quickly does the rest and we are back to square one. Do a decent job and you might actually save yourself repeat complaints and save the taxpayer some money.

Please note the above report of potholes in Churchill Drive, Spalding is not from me.I suspect you have cross referenced my previous report of potholes with someone else who I suspect lives in Churchill Drive. However, I concur with what has been said and would request that repairs are carried out as soon as possible because the road is a real bone shaker and must be damaging vehicles.

Further to the CDr potholes, which I agree are indeed hard on car suspensions, and there is a problem NOW. However, you may wish to factor in to your decision about whether to RESURFACE the road properly, at least as far as the first turning area (about 100 yards), the fact that all CD residents have been informed by Cadent that the gas main pipes and domestic property service pipes, are to be replaced. House visits were made by Cadent staff last week. No date given but work was said to involve digging up the road. The plant involved with such work will only make the existing problems worse. Surely, this presents an opportunity to do a proper resurface job In conjunction? Please will someone get a grip and explain to the residents, what LCC plan is for dealing with the short and long-term issues with the Ch Dr road.
