A16 Spilsby to Boston
Reported via desktop in the Damaged/missing boundary markers category anonymously at 11:28, Thu 15 October 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 378140.
The road markings along the A16 from Spilsby to Boston are very poor, in some places non existent. This is particularly hazardous in the dark and with wet, misty or foggy conditions. Due to little or no street lighting the road markings need to be repainted to make then visible. Due to high usage of this road with farm vehicles and HGVs this is very dangerous as the markings are unclear.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
State changed to: No further action
