Farmer has cut the hedge leaving all the cuttings on the cyclepath

Reported via desktop in the Noxious weeds category anonymously at 21:15, Tuesday 20 October 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 378461.

Hawthorn cuttings all over the cyclepath, left by farmer cutting hedge. These should be cleared up and not left. Complaints received from cyclists who have had punctured tyres. This is not acceptable, people are using the designated cycle path to get to work.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the footway was reasonably clear. This is a rural farming county and farmers carry out hedge flailing duties at this time of year. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
