This morning the street lights didn't come on until 6.40, whereas the other morning they were on at 3.00 a.m. and could have been on all night

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 378479.
There have been problems with the lights in the village for a long time, and this has been raised by myself and others before. Clearly the technology used to control the timing for the lights is not fit for purpose, and is potentially a safety hazard

Street lights already on at 5.20 a.m. It is now 6 days since BST ended, surely long enough for them to be right

We are aware that lights may be switching on slightly later than hoped, please be assured they are operating normally. Street lights have sensors that monitor the number of daylight hours, which is how they set their internal clock. During the autumn, the lights enter a period of adjustment when their timings may vary as they adapt to the adjustment to Greenwich Mean Time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action

Lights starting time now seems to have settled at 5.35 a.m. which is significantly outside the 15 minutes tolerance level stated by the manufacturer
