Awful uneven pavements on Hall Lane,Stickney.

After visiting my Mum who lives opposite West Fen Lane on Hall Lane,Stickney.Just past my Mums bungalow the pavement all the way into the village as far as the school.The pavement is in an awful mess and is an accident waiting to happen.Apart from the odd quick repair.I know this hasn’t been done in years. My Mum likes to walk out with her stick or Zimmer frame.But do to the path been such as mess this is becoming impossible.It is unsafe for the elderly and everyone.I don’t live in the area but feel it needs complaining about.The village gets bits done but when it comes to Hall Lane nothing happens.So please,before you have an expensive claim on your hands can somebody from your council inspect it and perhaps get something done?I have taken photographs for your observation if you would like to see.I have attached three photographs with this email.I have plenty more that I would really like you to see.But cannot attach anymore. Look forward to hearing from you.

  • Thank you so much for getting intouch so quickly.I do appreciate you are very busy people in such troubled times. But I just felt rather strongly about this matter.Path is very dangerous. Look forward to hearing from you when the inspection has been done. I also forwarded an email to the Stickney parish council about this with pictures and the matter is being risen in their meeting next week.Thank you once again for your time.

  • Please please can these footpaths now be reassessed?????Two years later the pavements look even worse.My Mum is now in a wheelchair and I try to walk her out when I visit.Alas not on these awful pavements.Impossible to push her.Why should I have to put up with this and lots of others???Walking in the road would be smoother,but really not safe with all the traffic on Hall Lane that is supposed to be travelling at 30mph not 60mph.Some surrounding villages ie.Sibsey has lovely pavements etc.Please can this be looked at again for the residents of Stickney?Then perhaps I can walk my Mum to the village instead of travelling by car to take her out.Thank you.
