The road is in very bad condition. Very muddy and slippery. Why is it not being kept clean by these contractors?

The state of the road continues to be an issue. The use of a road sweeper is useless as each lorry carries and drops mud, with relentless numbers of lorries entering and leaving the site each hour perhaps a wheel wash would be more suitable.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we have driven the roads in and around Cherry Willingham and did not consider the area to be unsafe at the time of our inspection. The developer has also been seen machine sweeping Fiskerton Road during the day. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action

The road sweeping is making the matter worse, causing the mud to smear and spread across the road surface which is becoming increasingly damaged by the volume of HGV's using the road. As someone who walks and runs along the local roads I can say just how slippery the surfaces are underfoot not least for a car.
