Damaged road edge, encroaches less than 100mm problem
Reported via Open311 in the Damaged road edge, encroaches less than 100mm category by Customer Services at 11:15, Thu 29 October 2020
Council ref: 290917.
I was driving from Langworth towards Bardney, and around 15m before the Woodside Wildlife Park (on my left) - and I was driving a VW T-Cross, and passing a large long wheel based van on the narrow road. I slowed the vehicle and moved aside on the road to pass the van, and both of the passenger side wheels of my car entered the pothole and immediately burst both front and back tyres. I pulled over immediately several metres from the pothole, and had to have the car collected and towed to a local garage, stored overnight, and 2 new tyres fitted the next morning - I was collected and taken home by my husband who had to collect me from the roadside.
