Stream flowing up through the tarmac road surface and covering the road junction. Extremely dangerous should this freeze.
Reported via mobile in the Flooding category by Richard Dilly at 08:40, Fri 30 October 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 378921.
A large hole in the road has developed at the junction to Martin Close. This appears to have been caused by a stream breaking up through the tarmac road surface. This has resulted in flowing and standing water across the whole of the junction.
Anglian water have been out to assess the problem but have said that it is a ‘highways issue’.
The hole has been filled once already but this repair has already been washed away leaving the existing hole.
This situation will be extremely dangerous should the water freeze as car drivers would experience difficulty stopping at the junction and proceed across the path of the main road. Can I request that the road is repaired as a matter of urgency for the safety of all residents off Martin Close.
Kind regards. Richard Dilly
