Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 379063.
There are 2 large trees in front of my boundary line at the 5 High Street, Brant Broughton. LN5 0QX. They both have some dead branches in and one is rotten at the trunk. Can you add the maintenance of these trees. Please let me know if you need any further information of photo evidence of the trees

Our aborist visited the site on 18 November 2020 and identified the trees in this report. The lime tree is in decline with deadwood. As it is rare for a ditch to be within the highway it is likely that these trees are your responsibility. The construction of a fence does not move the boundary. Under conservation area status the deadwood can be removed from the tree but if you wish to do more you need to give your local planning authority 6 weeks notice. Please contact us again if you have any questions. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
