Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4154269.
An enquiry about the state of the repair to the footpath adjoining the driveway of 54 Washingborough Road, Heighington, LN4 1QR. This repair was done by the contractor who damaged the footpath during the renovation of the driveway. After inspection this repair is believed to have taken place using temporary cold tarmac from a tub and is not up to standard.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

We have met with the property owner on site who has agreed to ensure the widened section of the new driveway is not used by his tenants. This will ensure that vehicles can only cross the highway footway over the dropped kerbs which is the legal crossing. Whilst Lincolnshire County Council recognises the difficulties the property owner is having with his contractor, it has been decided that no action will be taken in regard to the temporary repairs carried out in the highway by said contractor. Should the patches fail in the future Lincolnshire County Council may carry out further repairs to make these more permanent. No further action is planned at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
