Deep pothole near level crossing

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 379754.

Deep, wide pothole on northern side of level crossing, has been getting steadily worse for the past few months. Very dangerous for any cyclists or pedestrians who cross here to reach the station car park.

  • Repair has failed already. You can actually see where the new tarmac has "splashed" out of the pothole from the pressure of vehicles driving over it. It's back to being an ankle-breaking hazard at a point in the road where pedestrians may cross from Hykeham station to the car park. Suggest a rapid fix and allow proper time for the tarmac to set before opening the road again.
