Pedestrian crossing near Five Bells Pub and opposite Kings School not working properly since Friday 13 November. Traffic lights started to change too quickly to allow pedestrians to cross, one person reported being beeped by a car when he was crossing correctly on Saturday 14th November. Today (15th) the traffic filter light is causing problems particularly as there are no longer any warning notices that this is in operation again. On at least 2 occasions, the pedestrian signal did not work despite several people on both sides of the road pressing the button. As its on a blind bend and impossible to see both streams of traffic from the town centre and Lincoln at the same time, its very dangerous to cross without the lights. Likely to cause all sorts of problems on Monday when schools re-open.
