Over grown cycle path

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 13:50, Thu 19 November 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 380209.

There is a 100 meter (approx) stretch of the shared cycle / pedestrian pathway on Tritton Road, Lincoln. The exact area is situated indirectly opposite the Crown and Arrows public house on Tritton Road i.e. turn LEFT out of Sainsburys and head into Lincoln on this shared pathway. One will immediately find that the pedestrian side of this shared pathway is now, more or less, COMPLETELY COVERED in foliage up the the white separation line. I do not believe that this area has been attended to for some considerable time. This is causing pedestrians to use the cycle half of the pathway causing cyclists to veer up on the grassed verges in order to pass by. I have never seen a pathway that is so far overgrown. This has been previously reported (REF Nr 373111) as being complete. YET NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!!

YOU HAVE TAKEN PHOTOGRAPHS HIGHLIGHTING THE PROBLEM, YET NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.

WHY!!
