Can you please tell me if the SLOW roadmarkings are to be replaced on the new wearing course ch610-ch630 both directions, these roadmarkings when originally installed were effective for a short period of time and then as now are ignored by the majority of motorists. The secondary concern as a resident is the additional noise generated by the change in surface levels.

This is a safety and environmental issue not a pothole issue. At present traffic running on basecourse material is so much quieter already without the roadmarkings. Unless a proper speed hump is installed at the same time as the SLOW signs , its a waste of time and money. ( I appreciate speed humps are not used on A roads in Lincolnshire)
