Damage to pedestrian barrier at crossing at Sandon road Grantham
Reported via mobile in the Damaged/missing pedestrian guardrail category anonymously at 20:14, Sun 13 December 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 381753.
The pedestrian barrier has been damaged badly with sharp metal sticking out. This is a route used by many primary and secondary school children. Previously the barriers here have been hit at this crossing and rather than replacing them they have been removed. Surely if they have been hit by a car before there is a good chance they could be hit again except now the barriers don't exist so let's just hope its not school children that are hit just so some money could be saved in replacing the barriers.
