Pothole/uneven road surface for long stretch of road
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 16:38, Tue 29 December 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 382811.
The entire stretch of road from the junction heading towards the village of Toft has been awful for a number of years and is only becoming worse with potholes that keep collapsing despite being recently refilled. The road is uneven through blind bends of which oppose a risk to drivers trying to avoid pot holes to eliminate risk of damaging their tyres/alloys/chassis. Whilst other sections of this road are being maintained (which aren’t half as bad as this stretch) I don’t understand why this is being left. Can it please please PLEASE be sorted properly and non of this patch work nonsense.

Once again, LCC Highways not up to the job -This stretch of road has been awful for years and years. LCC keep on boasting about the Lincoln and Grantham bypasses, failing to tell everybody that all their budget is taken up by these "trophy" projects whilst the likes of Stamford and Bourne suffer absolutely terrible roads, because of LCC deliberate policy of patching, patching, patching, patching forever. I think the whole road repair maintenance system in Lincolnshire is hopelessly inadequate, and seriously question their whole policy - It's about time that either the head of this department gets his act together or makes way for someone more flexible and interested in the whole of Linconshire, not just the two biggest towns/cities. For God's sake LCC get moving and provide a fair service to ALL of the county not just the two mentioned. Please, whatever you do, don't blame budgets or Covid - it's your whole policy that's at fault - I've lived in Stamford for 80 years and still waiting for an Eas West bypass - how long did those two other towns wait ????????????

If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. Resurfacing works are scheduled in the new financial year however these will be subject to funding and other County priorities.
