Multiple deep potholes alongside temporary lane closure
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 21:05, Tue 29 December 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 382823.
These potholes are large and clearly dangerous and in the wheel track so unavoidable. The recent heavy rain and now ice this week are accelerating the erosion and thus depth so you really need to get something done urgently I suggest.

Since the introduction of the temporary traffic lights in conjunction with the new development, the condition of the edge of the southbound carriageway from this point towards Campion Drive has deteriorated considerably with pot holes appearing as traffic is forced over to the verge. Our Drivers are now reporting this has significantly worsened in the last week and suspect there may have even been some subsidence of the southbound carriageway.

The road is getting worse and worse. When are these potholes 'scheduled' to be fixed? It needs to be now....

The pot holes are getting deeper and wider and now that we have traffic lights, cars travelling towards the Deepings school have no choice but to drive through these large holes. My car tyre was damaged 1 year ago in a similar location which was very costly. I am hoping that by reporting this, should it happen again, I can claim for the cost.

This road is becoming like a rally driving course. Rather than the poor temporary fixes the whole of linchfield road needs resurfacing properly. Especially now there is a new housing development. There needs to be something I.e a curb installed on the field side to stop the surface falling away and becoming dangerous.

This road is dangerous I nearly had a car accident as people tries to avoid the holes . The whole on the road are huge and deep. The worst road to travel through and impossible to avoid when taking children to school. I am pretty sure a lot of car suffer damages Frye to the holes.
