Where are the fritters
Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 11:09, Saturday 2 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 382977.
Over the past few days it has been freezing. Going out every morning I have not seen a single gritter around Newark Road or even Tritton road. There have been areas with black ice.
Accidents will happen.
Can you please advise?
One the other hand around council offices salt has been put down....

Your concerns have been passed to the team responsible. Newark Road and Tritton Road are on the salted network. Here is a link to our website and the plan of the salted network. https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ faults-maintenance/ view-gritting-routes This gives guidance on when we grit and which roads. We cannot attend all roads. Please also see https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ faults-maintenance/ request-grit-bin-refill This link takes you to the grit bins data and provides information about how to request a grit bin. We provide these for residents to use on public paths and roads. Thank you for reporting this matter.
