Road damage caused by tractor with broken wheel
Reported via iOS in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 14:25, Wed 6 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 383354.
Earlier this week a tractor was stopped at the junction of Chapel Lane/Gyspy Lane, reportedly with a broken wheel which has caused this road surface damage. The point where it stopped is shown in the photo as where the road scoring ends. At some point along the A52 the scoring starts, coming from the Old Leake direction and turning down Chapel Lane towards Gypsy Lane. The scoring is close to the edge of the road, goes over manhole/drain covers and through existing potholes/cracks in the road. The scoring is finger wide and quite deep in some places with the scored road surface debris loose at the side of the line.
