Uneven surface Hawthorn Way and Holmefield pavements
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 11:13, Fri 8 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 383571.
To the management, as a resident of Hawthorn Way I find the woeful state of the pavements both on Hawthorn Way and Holmefield, Bassingham, deplorable and dangerous. This is due to the large number of depressions and cavities in the surface of the pavement. These become dangerous when filled with rainwater and they become icy in the winter. I would point out that there are a number of elderly people using these pavements. As one of these elderly people, I would have it known that if I slip on these pavements due to the managements negligence, I will not hesitate to instigate legal proceedings. Especially as I have now brought it to your attention.
