Road disintegrating

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 08:11, Monday 18 January 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 384525.

Due to the heavy traffic and speed of traffic the road is literally disintegrating with chippings covering the pathway and driveways. Halmer Gate traffic does not stick to the 30mph limit so chippings get thrown up at anyone walking on the pavement. I have paint chips on my car. I have been here since July 2020 and it wasn’t bad when we moved in, it needs renewing properly due to the traffic and please put a speed hump outside my house as I am supposed to reverse in but the traffic is so fast it’s almost impossible at certain times

  • Thankyou for the 06.30 wake up call for the road sweeper to sweep the road area last Saturday , i But it does not help the road or control the speed of the traffic, I assume the road spec is for 30mph, but as you are aware that in not enforced, please put a camera outside our house,....
