We are sorry that this has not been dealt with sooner but we are not taking immediate action with this report. We agree that traffic volumes have increased in general across the whole network however, as this is an A Road, and has always been subject to higher traffic flows, this has always been the case comparatively, due to this fact it has always been constructed as such. The property is not directly by the road side and there is a wide section of footway between the road and the house. Larger vehicles, although heavy, are licensed to use the highway network and as such we cannot stop them. There are no weight restrictions along this length and we would only implement one for a specific issue such as a weak bridge for example, but this is not the case in this location. The roundabout itself is in good condition and all of our network is monitored in line with our inspection policy. No action is proposed at this location at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
