Blocked kerb drain outside 172/174 Queens Road.
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:11, Wed 20 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 384955.
Cars constantly sat in water. After the burst pipe incident which flooded road, cars are in thick muddy water. Drain has not been cleaned for over a year. This picture was taken after it rained the day before. Road has no puddles except outside this drain. This is on a good day. When it's really raining heavy, half the road can flood.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

We're currently receiving a high volume of reports of flooding across the county. We are prioritising issues where water has entered people's houses and where water covers over half of the carriageway, which could endanger road users. Unfortunately, this means it can take us longer than usual to respond to other flood-related incidents. We've had some extremely wet weather recently which has resulted in saturated ground and very high water levels in streams and rivers. This means that sometimes, even if road drains aren't blocked, there is nowhere for the water to go, so it takes a lot longer than usual to drain away. You can help by letting us know where standing water isn't receding a few hours after rain stopped. Please rest assured we'll be checking all the drains once we've finished responding to the most urgent flooded areas. Thank you for reporting this matter.
