Barriers demolished on Scalp Road - need replacing

Reported via desktop in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 17:12, Thu 21 January 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 385177.

A barrier has been erected on Scalp Road to stop traffic accessing the Pilgrim Fathers Memorial car park, due to the ongoing works to the banks of the River Haven.

The barrier has been effectively destroyed by those intent on getting through and the bollards stolen.

A more robust barrier is needed immediately with better, more permanent signage, positioned well in advance of the barrier and also at the barrier itself.

This has been an ongoing issue throughout the bank works and really needs some proper attention now to resolve.
