Kenwick Road traffic bollard damaged
Reported via desktop in the Bollards (lit) category anonymously at 20:10, Thu 21 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 385230.
The traffic bollard on the pedestrian crossing island has been knocked down and damaged. I suspect the electrics are also not working. The casing is flooded. This happened last year (approx October) and has been reported a few times to the council. Nothing has been done yet. On closer inspection the casing is damaged with sharp metal exposed. If someone fell into the hole, or slipped, they could cut themselves badly on the metal. This island could also do with a good clean and sweep while it is being repaired to remove the debris and gravel from the kerb stones.

Thank you Lincolnshire County Council. Very happy to see the new traffic bollard go in on the pedestrian island this week. It makes such a difference and really highlights the crossing point to motorists, improving the safely of local residents. Thank you very much! I'd like to request, if you have another matching new bollard, and there is a nearby job which brings you back to this location, replacing the old and dirty bollard would provide clarity in both directions and give the pedestrian island a consistent look. It does look odd with two different bollards. Thank you in advance for your help.
