- The whole stretch of road from where the tarmac changes just by road opening to Branston Hall all the way down to Beech Road - the road surface here is a disgrace and patching it up is a very temporary fix which makes the road uneven and even if all potholes were filled the lorries and agricultural traffic would still bounce and crash over the repairs creating terrible noise and vibrations for the nearby residents and their properties. Along this whole stretch of road on each side is road gravel which is breaking away from the surface in many places and then fo.rms potholes - just looking at the amount of gravel gathered shows how badly the road is breaking up

We acknowledge your concerns and accept that the highway has deteriorated in condition. We have assessed the road in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and repair jobs were raised to address some potholes that required attention. The road condition is noted however and the site will be put forward for consideration for future works more significant in scale, however these would be subject to funding and other County priorities. In the meantime we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule. Thank you for reporting this matter.
