Closed job not completed and now worse
Reported via desktop in the Manhole/drain cover on pavement/verge category anonymously at 18:44, Wed 27 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 385939.
This is located on the grass bank outside Moorfield House. There is no drain cover just a slab and in heavy rain the bank floods which then sends water on to Temple Road. You recently notified us that there was no further action however your men came out to put a drain cover on it but when they saw it was full of soil they said it wasn't their job to clear it and left. Following the recent heavy rain and snow the slab covering the drain has sunk and there is a continuous stream of water going on to Temple Road. When the temperature drops below freezing this leaves an ice covering on the main road which is dangerous and one person has already come off their bike as a result.
