Pavement pothole on dropped kerb on Craven Street
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 08:37, Thu 28 January 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 385973.
The pavement tarmac has worn away to create a long hole, close to the dropped kerb /double yellow lines on the corner of Craven Street and Bargate. The left turning onto Craven street, and on the side of the houses, not the old school flats side. It has been there for at least 2 years since I moved here, but has increased in size and depth over time and particularly over this winter. I regularly trip over it whilst walking the dog, as the cars park so close on the street, and the people in the corner house leave their bins out on the street all the time, so there’s no pavement space left to avoid the hole. Also in the dark winter weather, it is tricky to see the hole properly. I cannot take a photo of the hole st this time since there is a car parked over half the hole currently.
