Multiple pot holes again and again strewn all down Mill Lane. Car tyre punctures have happened. Council came to fix it two years ago but only papered over the cracks. Terrible driving conditions for a public road.

Problem still not fixed. Multiple pot holes that are deep enough to cause considerable damage to vehicles.

The potholes are ridiculously deep and dangerous. Some are over 10 cms deep and driving down mill lane is very difficult. This is a public road and it is not fit for purpose. This problem has been highlighted many times but still nothing has happened. We would all be very grateful if you could look into this matter urgently please. John Olver resident at The Mill.

This road is an absolute disgrace. The road speed limit is 60mph and many vehicles are doing this speed including the farmer/builder with heavy loads. During the 3 lockdowns car traffic (with commensurate punctures) and walkers, children, wheelchairs and many cyclists are using Mill Lane. The dreadful pot holes were highlighted by myself two years ago when I was a Councillor but this year the road is substantially worse. Outside of Ivy Cottage the rain filled the pot holes to such a degree that the 80 year old house owner could not get out. As you see the pot holes are, in places, more than 10 cms deep as is shown using my size 6 foot as a guide.

Thank you for filling the pot holes that your people agreed in Oct 2019. The team that did the actual labour were very good and confirmed our findings that the road is in a very poor state of repair. The heavy lorries and vehicles using this road at speed plus the snow and ice over the winter have exacerbated the pot holes. The speed limit on this country road, which also has a childrens' playpark, is also excessive, at the national speed limit. Should be 30mph not 60mph. With deep potholes, children, large vehicles, narrow road with sharp bends someone, other than alloy wheels and tyres is going to get hurt.
