Surface washed away
Reported via mobile in the Bridge or Structure category anonymously at 12:12, Mon 1 February 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 386645.
The surface & structural concrete has been washed away leaving only passable with great care as remaining surface is unstable & would be unsafe for horse & rider to cross as it is a main bridleway. If this is not right reporting forum please pass on or let me know.

Why no further action when this is a potential serious injury/death hazard for horse & riders on a major bridleway.

The water has now gone but the dislodged sand bags spewn across the path, the exposed metal tube and the removed surface and uneven surface means that this is now unpassable by horses. This is the main bridle path and needs adressing urgently particularly as spring is coming and this is a very popular riding route for the area.

Although temporary surface has been laid, the cause has not, there is & always will be a plug of debris that blocks the conduit, so as soon as another deluge occurs it will again wash away the bridge walkway. There needs to be an upstream barrier so debris is trapped before the bridge.
