  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because our arborist advised that the tree is of a low priority. We will continue to monitor the site as part of our routine inspections with the view to carry out any works in the near future. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. As well as it currently being bird nesting season the Arborists has made the following comments: The tree outside no 45 is a Norway maple, 15m tall, 80cm stem diameter and vigorous, the crown is down to 4m over the road and it overhangs the garden of no 45 by about 2m, it is also overgrowing and suppressing the neighbouring tree. The tree has been reduced in the past to around 8m. I have spoken to Mrs Collins on the phone, her insurance concern was a question about whether there are trees taller than your house. I do not think that is a valid reason to reduce a tree, but this is outgrowing its space, I recommend it is reduced to the previous reduction points, low priority at the moment but should be done in the next year or two. Thank you for reporting this matter.
