Along the stretch of road from Bonsall Farm up to the Blyton Level Crossing there are numerous slabs of the road surface that are subsiding/falling away creating a ridge and dip in the road.

It looks like previous slabs of previous repair are either subsiding or falling into the verge. The road level is significantly lower on these slabs than on the rest of the lane and there is a ridge in the middle of the narrow lane where the tarmac is coming away . Whilst currently it is not too bad a problem for cars it is a problem for cyclists who could be thrown off their cycle. The lane is narrow so if this problem is not given attention it may become impassable as the slabs extend from the middle of the road to one side of it.
