West Elloe Avenue, Spalding. Whole road re surfacing not done

Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 10:09, Friday 5 February 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 387338.

Not a pothole! I have reported that the road moves the house in the last 5 years after the road had put down electrical wire (park road to Clay Lake). Unfortunately the road not resurfaced (per letter we had, after the electrical work) and has places where all small and big lorry's , small and big buses and vans along with ones that are over the 30miles an hour speed limit (which most people do) make the road and houses vibrate when they go by.

  • As a resident of West Elloe Avenue for over twenty years I can confirm what the original reportee says. The vibration from vehicles is getting progressively worse over the last few years. I believe a study should be undertaken to determine the cause and decide on a remedy before significant damage is caused.
