Road not gritted
Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 13:19, Mon 8 February 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 387839.
Due to flooding and closure of the Boston road by the bridge it would seem that the treating of the road has been stopped, however we still have over 50 HGV vehicle movements, cyclist and workers vehicles transiting the power station every day. When the weather gets down to freezing the conditions on the stretch of road from the power station to the bridge at Kirkby La Thorpe (via mount lane) remains very poor due to the lack of road gritting. Can something be done to get this stretch of road back onto the program for gritting? A HGV incident on this road has potential to cause very serious disruption.
