Huge pothole over 30cms big and more than 5cms deep
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 21:11, Mon 15 February 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 388849.
I’ve just driven along Wharf Road and hit a huge pothole. I experienced a huge bang and loss of steering. I now have 2 completely flat tyres which will have to be changed tomorrow at, I suspect, huge cost. I will take photos of my tyres and supply you with receipts.

As per the previous posts, I also hit the same pothole on Wharf Road at 4:50 Tuesday 16 February and my front, left tyre is damaged beyond repair.

As per the above posts, I too hit this porthole at 18.10hrs on Tuesday, February 16. I suffered one front wheel tyre blow-out and damage to the other tyre on the driver's side. Both have had to be replaced today. The problem is that this section of the road is poorly lit and you cannot see the pothole until you are on top of it, ie, with a second to spare. Trying to indicate the hole with yellow markings is as good as useless.
I can understand about the county council's shortage of money to repair potholes in our country lanes, but this is a busy town centre road!!! I will be making a claim for two expensive tyre replacements because of this.
