Unexpected big ramp change in road levels
Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 01:02, Monday 22 February 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 389815.
When travelling southwest along the A1175, at the exit of the bridge deck - after crossing the River Welland - all vehicles drop-down violently to the road surface level below, which is estimated to be some 8-10cm lower within a short distance: a steep ramp!! This dangerous road issue has been reported several times but all we see is 'work is scheduled'
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

I was travelling from Market Deeping and hit the bridge as I overtook a slow moving vehicle that had pulled out in front of me from Cradge Bank Road. I have never experienced such a terrible huge bump. The car took off and I heard a dreadful bang. I was driving a nearly new car and I am sure it will have damage underneath. There are no warning signs even though this has been reported for years. If my car has been damaged (I will get it inspected) I will expect LCC to pay for the damage. A crazy lack of concern for a very dangerous problem.
