Drain broken/blocked below ground at school entrance

Reported via desktop in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category anonymously at 15:23, Tue 2 March 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 390810.

This blockage has caused drain to overflow in my garden causing majorflooding of my garden drive and outbuildings. The landlord arranged for Boyles tanker to try and alleviate the problem. After pumping out 3500gallons of water we have the level right down but it isnot running. We have measured the blockage from two manholes and it equates to where Anglian water dug to put in new sewage system. It has been approx 3 weeks since it happened and I am wary of cleaning up the mess in case it happens again when it rains for any long period of time

  • It has been 5 weeks since last flood and 2 weeks since being reported. It is still blocked, and I can not clear up damaged outbuildings and garden until the problem is rectified.

  • We have checked our gullies in the area and they are working well. Anglian Water is responsible for this issue. You can report this to them at https://www.anglianwater.co.uk/ contact-us/ Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility

  • I contacted anglian water initially. representative visited and said the storm drain pipework is councils responsibilty. This storm drain runs under my garden from Market rasen rd into the gulley system on gatehouse road. Nobody has checked the storm drain in my garden and no one has contacted me. This pipework is blocked or collapsed and the position identified (This is probably just before it joins the roadside gully. ) I do not consider this case closed and would appreciate some one from your organisation to contact me. I will inform anglian water of the of the dialogue
