Deteriorating repair of utilities trench
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category by Stephen Renshaw at 16:48, Monday 8 March 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 391359.
A utilities trench, some 300 metres long, was dug some years ago. The surface is now deteriorating badly. As the trench is approximately one metre in from the edge of the carriageway, it is a particular hazard for cyclists. In order to avoid the potholes, they must ride in the centre of the road.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.
