Road Surface has deteriorated

A1434 on the junction with Doddington road has very rough and poor road surface with potholes forming, causing cars too swerve to avoid them, and going into cycle lane, full junction resurface required.
It is only a matter of hours before there is a serious accident between cars turning onto Doddington Rd swerving to miss the holes and hit oncoming cars exiting Doddington Rd

We acknowledge your concerns and accept that the highway has deteriorated in condition. We have assessed the road surface in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and it does not require urgent action. The road condition is noted and the site will be put forward for consideration for future works more significant in scale however, these would be subject to funding and other County priorities. In the meantime we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule. We will continue to make temporary repairs in line with our policy to keep the area safe and serviceable. Thank you for reporting this matter.
